Will assessments be covered by insurance?

We're in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and United Health Care. Cost is determined based on your plan's coverage and associated mental health benefits. Please call for more information on cash-pay or out-of-network options and prices.

How do I know if I need an assessment?

Anyone looking for help or answers regarding behavior, mood concerns or a medical diagnosis to help manage day-to-day life should inquire.

Assessments can help patients get necessary modifications and accommodations in their workplace or learning environments. Diagnoses can also be used by psychiatrists to aid medication management.

How do I prepare for assessment?

Patients should get a full night of rest and come to the appointment having already eaten breakfast. Our appointments begin either at 9am or 10am. Testing will take between 4 to 6 hours depending on various factors and the symptoms our office will be evaluating for.

What do I need for an appointment?

Have your insurance card and drivers license available the day of the appointment. Head over to our forms page to get a jumpstart on paperwork.

Young adults, ages 18-25, will complete Adult forms. However, we encourage parents to also complete the Child Background and History from.

What should I tell my child to expect?

Testing will be similar to a day at school but with more puzzles and games in addition to math, reading, and spelling activities where applicable. Testing is not continuous. There will be breaks between tasks and lunch provided. Parents are welcome to pack lunch if there are any dietary restrictions or allergies.
